CAMPGROUNDS

Music in the Forest takes place in some of the best camping areas in California (and some of the least known!) For the quickest access to the festival and a guaranteed camping spot, we suggest Mil Potrero Park, an easy walk to the festival site (661-763-4246 for strongly suggested reservations.) No Forest Adventure Pass is required at this campground.

Other sites can be found along the drive in from the I-5 along the Mil Potrero Highway. Other campsites are on Cerro Noreste, the road coming from the west, and on the road leading up to the Mt. Pinos Recreation Area itself. Many campsites are free, but a Forest Adventure Pass is required for any vehicles in camps other than Mil Potrero Park (usually $5 per day.) The sites closest to the festival are listed below. Check with the Forest Service (661-245-3731) for fees and additional camp information.
