Mtn. memories assocation was started in 1967 as a
non-profit
group. The purpose was to put on an annual event "Fiesta Days" to raise
money for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the local residents. We
started of by subsidizing Hall Ambulance Service so that they
would
station paramedics and an ambulance here in our community which
financially
wasn't profitable enough at the time for Mr. Hall to want to come to
our
area. Since then the community has grown to where Hall Ambulance has
been
able to survive on there own. Now Mtn. memories focus' on the larger
scope
of bettering the health and welfare of the greater Frazier Mountain
Communities.
