When you become a member of the Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce, you join a dynamic group of individuals that represent the business and ongoing interests of our communities.

Participation is key to making contacts in the business community and we encourage you to get involved in one of the many committees. Our committee structure is the heartbeat of our Chamber. Our committees help, plan, provide information and develop guidelines to insure that you have invested wisely in our organization.

The Chamber is dedicated to offering visibility and value to our membership. Here is how the Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce supports and works to promote you and your business:

Member Link to the Web - Once invested in the Chamber, your membership provides you a free listing for your business, with complete contact information, business description and a link to your web site free of charge.

“Just Ask Us” Program - Our staff offers opportunities for referrals and leads. Your next customer may come from the Chamber office.

Official Chamber Map - This is a great opportunity to advertise and profile your business! The map includes all areas in the Mountain Communities and is available for $1.50.

Networking Opportunities - Meet other member businesses by getting involved with the events and committees of the Chamber. Committee meetings, mixers and special events are venues to meet people and introduce your business.

Voting Privileges - As a member you may nominate and vote for citizen of the year. From time to time, certain issues may require your vote such as as revisions to the Bylaws that will be voted on by the membership. As a member, your vote is a powerful tool and should be used to make your voice heard in chamber matters.

Membership Plaque - Let the citizens of the Mountain Communities know you have a voice in their community. Proudly display your membership plaque; many members look for it while doing business with one another.

Liaison to Kern County - The Chamber has an executive staff member available to assist you with any special needs in working with the different departments of most county staff.
